I wanted to talk a little bit more about adrenal fatigue, and the musculoskeletal component (that pain and muscle tension) that accompanies that feeling of being in that fight or flight mode for so many months.
For me, I get neck tension.
I have a couple of go-to stretches for this. Check out the video for a demo.
It may take you a few times to have that muscle melt for you.
Another great thing from doing this is that you’re actually calming your sympathetic nervous system (that fight or flight mechanism).
So, with adrenal fatigue, that over stimulant, we’re able to calm that down. Breathing can help so much with calming this down. That breathing in through the nose and exhaling through the mouth help calm it down.
I have all sorts of tips to share with you!
